Sooo - a world of possibility
Took me chiquita Sara with me to see the play with my voice teacher in it. She was quite funny (my voice teacher).

As for rockstar, well 2 days. Not only no apology or explanation, but no return phone call at all.

"I'll call you". Last words, said on Thursday night/Friday morning (it was after midnight). Nope, no call.

Unless there is an apology and good reasoning, so long. I need not hassles in my life.

Too bad. He seemed interesting, very ambitious with his music, intelligent ~ even if it wasn't "book" smart it was there~, and enjoyable to be around.

I hope everyone is well.

Was it a first date? Could be he doesn't want to appear overly anxious?

Knowing the Play

If your boy knows what's up, his call will come Monday evening or Tuesday afternoon. The whole purpose behind waiting on the ICU is to make the woman do exactly what you're doing now. That way when he does call, not only does he get a chance to see how much you'll let slide, but he gets mental brownie points for doing what he said he would, and he'll be able to tell from the way you react to his having called after almost-too-long how much you wanted him to call.

Well, that's the GI Joe of it: It's the player's play. Play him back, let yourself be played, or avoid his game.

Re: Knowing the Play

You are absolutely right, hence unless there is a REALLY good explanation (currently the only one I can think of that might be understandable is that he lost his phone ~ not likely though). I've done that (lost my phone)and couldn't call people for a week or so. I sent all my friends e-mails and left a message telling everyone this.

Anyways, I agree. The only reason it struck me even a bit odd was that until this time, he has called when he said he would.

So yeah, we on da same page.
