General Tarot reading...

PAST
The High Priestess is the guardian of the unconscious and psychic abilities. Mysterious and spiritual, she is action through non-action. The High Priestess has complete faith in her emotions and feelings. She is the still water that runs deep and is of limitless potential. Actions and conditioning from the past may be affecting the present situation. Now may be the time to bring hidden knowledge to the surface.

PRESENT
In the Judgement card, the trumpet calls us to spiritual rebirth and resurrection. It is time to prepare for a new phase of growth. If a judgement is to be made, we are reminded to be forgiving when considering others. If a decision is to be made for ourselves, we are reminded to think carefully and then commit ourselves whole-heartedly. This card often turns up when true desires and vocations surface. Make a stand for what you believe to be right

FUTURE
The Lovers card represents all that one would expect--love, friendship, marriage, sexuality, and the tree of life. The Lovers may also turn up at moral and ethical crossroads, representing major decisions, ordeals, duality, short trips and the road less taken. Their nakedness shows their freedom from ego and facade. Often times this card acts as a reminder to be true to oneself. New opportunities and relationships are steps away. Be true to your self throughout and all will work out fine.

Career and Opportunities . . .

PAST
The Moon rules the world of shadow and night. Enchanting, it causes us to dream but also to be deceived. Moonlight can cause the familiar to look new and different. As the ruler of the unconscious, the Moon card often refers to creativity and psychic abilities. On the positive side, the Moon can represent mothers, travelers, psychics, artists and star-crossed lovers. On the negative side, it can represent con men, liars, imposters and impractical dreamers. If you are wondering if someone is lying to you, this card indicates that they are. Be careful not to let false ideas and images confuse you. Be especially wary of confusion resulting from your own fantasies and self-deception.

PRESENT
Death is not the end but the ultimate transformation. This card symbolizes necessary, profound and wonderful change. These changes should not be resisted. The death card instructs us to rid ourselves of old and useless attitudes, ideas, and situations. Get down to basics and focus on the truly important things in life. Look towards the future with faith not fear. In the midst of major changes, you feel stuck between the old and the new

FUTURE
The journey into the unknown is filled with potential and surprises. The Fool is unique and unpredictable. His trust in a higher power is possible through child-like innocence. This innocence brings newness to all situations. Faith guides the Fool in adventure, personal growth and spiritual journies. Start in new directions with child-like optimism and the world will begin again for you. Seize the opportunities that appear out of the blue, but be careful that the newness doesn't leave you in a state of confusion

And then I did General Readings again (not sure why, just did) . . .

PAST
The Hermit is the embodiment of meditation, solitude, and self-knowledge. He withdraws from society in order to connect with the Source. Sensible, with wisdom from age, he searches for deeper truths. Self sufficient, he pays attention to details and plans things out. The Hermit card often indicates the need for space, patience and quiet.Withdraw from the world and rest and think about your situation carefully. Rest and prepare.

PRESENT
The Hierophant (or High Priest) represents the conventional and established ways of thinking and acting. Very stubborn, he likes to impress. He must always remember that though he searches for truth, he is not the truth. We develop our morals through our early training. The Heirophant represents platonic relationships. He is the teacher, priest, mentor, official or professional. Now may be a time to listen to conventional wisdom or seek professional advice. You may be attending a traditional or religious ceremony soon.

FUTURE
Death is not the end but the ultimate transformation. This card symbolizes necessary, profound and wonderful change. These changes should not be resisted. The death card instructs us to rid ourselves of old and useless attitudes, ideas, and situations. Get down to basics and focus on the truly important things in life. Look towards the future with faith not fear. Leave the past behind. If you dont move on you will miss out on the new opportunities coming into your life.

Final thing . . .Horoscope stuff

Even if business and personal relationships seem to be moving right along, you still might not be entirely certain where things stand right now. But plenty of unanswered questions should soon be resolved to your satisfaction. Things should generally be moving in an upward direction, and the future should soon be bringing you plenty of rewards.

In the "sign of the month" (Libra) it says something about their relationship this month with each sign. It said "Watch out for Taurus over the next month. The Bull will plow through work. Acquaintances will see a sense of duty and higher moral obligation than they had believed possible. " I found this amusing. :)

About my sign in general . . .

Taurus, the second sign of the zodiac, is a fixed earth sign, and natives of this sign tend to possess both the stable and practical qualities of an earth sign as well as the stubborn and inflexible nature of a fixed sign. Sensible and down-to-earth, Taureans can be some of the most hard-working and determined people you'll ever meet. They'll rarely ever give up on anything! Their refusal to back down, as well as their general resistance to change, can occasionally lead to some conflicts for these obstinate little bulls.

Taureans can also be very sweet and affectionate when they feel safe and secure that all their basic needs are being met. Security is very important to Taureans and they will choose predictable routine over unexpected change any time. They will often gain a great sense of security from being surrounded by familiar and favorite objects and possessions. Be forewarned, if you attempt to take something away from a Taurus, or stand in their way, or try to tell them what to do, they might become as "mad as a bull!"

Taureans can tend to be a little possessive not only of their toys, but also in their personal relationships. Taureans prize loyalty above all else and can make some of the most devoted friends. They expect complete loyalty from their friends and lovers, and will eagerly offer the same in return. Reliable and consistent to the end, you can always count on a Taurus to be there when you need them!
