Remember when . . . - a world of possibility
Remember when . . .

So this is a two part request.

For those who I haven't talked to in a while (almost everyone) I'll be a peer advisor this fall. What this entails, besides the typical being there for the first year students when they need to talk etc., is teaching a first year workshop.

The point of the "First Year Workshop" is to "acclimate the students " to both the school and New York.

Where you all come in is . . .

I want to know what you feel would have been helpful to know as a freshman -anything.

Also, for those living in New York (or who know it well) I want to know your favorite places to go and things to do - remember most of these people are underage though.

Thank you for anything you can give me.

I hope all is well

It's nice to know where good coffee is, as that becomes a necessity to stay awake. Also, as soon as one understands how easy this city is to get around in above Houston (except Greenwich village), it's all a piece of cake.... Street #s go up when you go uptown (north) and avenue #s go up when you go west. As long as they understand that 5th avenue is divider between east and west, they'll get around fine. And I know when I went to university, I would have preferred someone to tell me which stores are the cheapest for office supplies, food, etc. and which restaurants serve good and cheap food. That's all I can think of, at the moment. :)
