Hello I am alive :) It seems everyone's lives are interesting… - a world of possibility

I am alive :)

It seems everyone's lives are interesting currently (yay).

Recently I've read about everything from Renaissance Faires to housing dilemnas and construction to teachers learning from their students and much much much more. I just wanted to thank you all for sharing your lives with me. I sort through them on breaks from writing (as well as sometimes my procrastinating).

Me - I've basically been doing a good deal of writing and getting some other things in my life straight (yay) plus a visit from my warm fuzzy soul a few days ago.

Recently I've found myself doing a lot more research on subjects for my story than when I started it. I can find plenty of information on my own, but figured I would also leave a few of the subjects on here for anyone who is like me and just loves to learn and look stuff up. That way I will have more angles of the subjects than just the one I see and therefore will have a broader view of the subjects.

For anyone who would like to help

-meanings of the word
-anything related, for example when I looked it up in the online encyclopedia animatism, animism, and taboo were all related.

the area, the culture surrounding it, landmarks -well known or not

greek traits
-physical and cultural traits that might make a person stand out from other people or cultures (preferably with a positive tone to them).

a way to die
- an accident, a disease, anything, I'm looking for something other than just "got hit by a drunk driver" "got cancer" but possibly something that goes with the character. He is a college student, sophomore, and he is mature for his age, more interested in his studies than girls, but a very good friend to those he knows. He is a pretty small character in the book though, so I'm not too too worried about it.

breeds, stories, personalities

Harry Harlow also known as Harry Frederick Israel
- more specifically his research on "love"
I've got a book on this one, a biography, so I may have more information than I could want, but I'm still interested.

OK, I think that's enough for now.
I will put more stuff up eventually as I think of it.

Information on any or all of this would be incredibly appreciated.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful

Hey I've actually been to Luxembourg! Of course it was ...oh ouch...20 odd years ago. I was visiting Southern Germany(Bavaria), Austria & Switzerland and we actually drove through and stopped in Luxembourg...I remember that the reigning royality- which I think was a Prince at that time was also the Postmaster, and that because I was there on Easter Sunday, basically the entire country was closed, except for a chocolate shop, where (obviously) we went and bought some chocolate! It was sort of a "drive through" country, cause it's REALLY small! sorry don't have any stats. on it though!

  • Mana for D&D geeks is the amount of magical energy you have left. I found several net related resources for you on this, but then I thought it might be nice just to show you my method. Consult the oracle and ask it for the word followed by jargon - in this case mana jargon. You will get a boatload of links.

  • I would recommend googling again for Luxembourg

  • Greek - got nothing for you on this one - never been to Greece, though I can count to for in the language

  • a way to die - since this sounds like such a minor character I am not sure you would be even describing it. Sounds more like two of the main characters talking - "hey, did you hear that Zitface died?" "What? - no way! - how?" - "well, I heard ....". Suicide sounds fitting. Pressure of studies. Not being able to express himself except to a small group of friends, that really don't understand the pain inside of him anyway.

  • Cats - the whole reason I am replying in the first place. Growing up - all of our cats hat personality. We had a cat named Gonzo that would run behind the door if someone knocked. When they came into the room - he would leap up and attack your ass. We had another cat that would perch himself on your shoulder like a bird. Tap your chest and say "Sylvestor up" and he would leap up onto your shoulder. We had another cat named Garfield that wasn't too bright. My mother was giving a perm to a friend and had just finished baking something. Well it was winter and being from Maine it was cold. She left the oven door open for the warmth. Garfield thought this was a great idea and decided to jump in - singed his paws. Got a lot more stories about cats if you need them.

  • huh, what? I am the epitome of laziness remember - so I am quitting now.

You need an Oxford English Dictionary - best source for word origins EVER.

On ways to die... the guy across the hall from me my sophmore year died of a brain aneurysm. Completely sudden. One day he was fine, the next he didn't wake up.
