sunshine inside my cup - a world of possibility
sunshine inside my cup
I had my first rehearsal - which as always was just introductions and a synopsis of what's going to happen throughout - it was wonderful.

quick interruption Stockwood website for anyone interested in going.

Back to today.

Up at 6:00am, showered, did a bit of Yoga (the little bit I know, lol) ae breakfast then headed to Port Authority.

The streets were quite empty on the way to the subway, but it was peaceful and pretty. Never tought I'd say that about NY streets- but it wasn't pretty in the way most would think.

I arrived in Spring Valley a little over an hour early. Once I walked to the building we have rehearsal in I left my belongings with a security guard and went exploring in the snow-covered streets of a small neighborhood while my ears were filled with my personal soundtrack - a CD I burned.

I soon came back to my bag with it's own security guard and grabbed my camera.

It was just so beautiful . I found this little path -tough I'm not sure if it's actually a path. As you walk along the sidewalk (take note this is more suburbs NOT NYC) on the left there wer these 3 litle snow covered steps with 2 stone pillars, similar to a railing - but not quite - about hip high (my hips).

Once you walk up the steps there was just snow about 3-5 inches hich - untouched. Some of it looked like it could have been a path because the branches from possible bushes and stems of plants sticking up from the snow were separated in a way that made it look just so. maybe I'll post the pictures.

I don't know how to describe it, it was just wonderful. I only wish I had waterproof gloves and possibly a companion to through snowballs at.

Then the rehearsal itself - the people are all wonderful. It's a good group, they all really want to be there and enjoy each other.

OK enough babble.

I hope everyone is well

Two things. . .

1) Roger found Jeff Goodes web page. . the guy who wrote The Elf and we are both on it (our names are atleast). I told him that show is how we met. It got me thinking about some very funny things. Max Kogod! Pinot, late night trips to CVS and the rubix cube. . .me peeing in front of 7-11 and pulling you into the pile of leaves. . there are alot of memories. .
2) I'm not on your friend's list :(

Re: Two things. . .

1) Funny, I just showed that website to a friend of mine the other day. Someone showed me it, though I can;t remember who, a few years back.

2) Updated (I rarely check my list anymore) - though I am curious as to why you added me again, if you don't mind.

I hope you are well
