HYDE part IV - a world of possibility
HYDE part IV
Before I get to the last part (so as not to have to make another post). I'm going up to NY soon to check out a possible apartment!!!! Guy flaked out, so I found a girl who has it together and seems very kewl. YAY.

And on to dun dun dunnn

There was another part that I'm cutting out, which was supposed be one way, but our family didn't exactly follow the directions, we did our own thing and just had a discussion, which was good.

So to the final part.

"Our greatest fear is not that we are inadequate
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond."
<~ I'm thinkin they meant to end elsewhere.

Assignement: Write a one page letter to yourself, responding to the following questions (Write the letter in first or second person. Take into account what you gained from the seminars and the evaluation when writing the letter. Take a risk.) <~ nice usage of the poem. Sorry I digress again.

1. What have I learned about my attitude when it comes to striving fpr my "personal best" and how does it impact my life, my family, and my communities (Hyde and others)? What have I learned about my family's attitude when it comes to striving for their best (Be speciic.)

"As we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give
other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our fear,
Our presence automatically liberates others."

2. Am I committed to investing in m personal change? Am I committed to facing my fears? What next step will let others know I am working to change so I can "let my own light shine?" (Be specific.)

Dear me,
You have learned much about your attitude when striving for personal best. Though I think it would be put better that your attitude and knowledge of yourself has been brought to light, things you always knew but could nt pinpoint, could not conect, did not completely understand, an awakening of sorts, clarification.

You have found that when you do as you have in the past year & strive towards what you want in life, rather than allow the standards of society to be imposed on you, you not only feel better about yourself, but actually seem to be an inspiration to others who want things for themself and are too afraid to risk what is needed in order to strive for their goals.

You have realized the next step is being your best in relating to people. Just as you found the strength to be you, you must find the strength to believe you will always be you no matter if you let others in.

You will always be you. Others may choose to join you on your journey. Enjoy their company while they are there, realize they have something to teach you. this lesson may be a quick one after which they may leave your side, possibly never to be seen again. You are still you.

Others will join you, their journeys running parallel to yours, and have many lessons for you, possibly even lessons you will learn together, staying by your side for the rest of your life. You will still be you.

Just as for your career you didn't allow others to change you, you must believe you will not allow others to change you in your personal life.

So now you must take the leap.

Basically I need to ask people for help instead of taking on the world by myself

That last part was said in the seminar (hence the different tense).

Yep, that's it, finally done.

I commend anyone who got through it all and hope it was of some insight to you. If not you know what goes on at HYDE, or at least a bit of it, lol.

I hope everyone is well.
