And so her life is, well her life :) - a world of possibility
And so her life is, well her life :)
So yeah, I found out today the "expiration date" or rather when the letter will be sent out by (from NYU/Tisch). The website says that it will be mailed by April 15th, so I figger by the 21st I shall know the answer.

I got my first wave of excitement, unsuredness ~ sorta. Then it went away.

Basically I am incredibly excited to be in NY, I just want to find an apartment already and be there.

I had my voice lesson today, as I always do on Wednesdays from 2-3PM (give or take a few minutes at either end depending on whose lesson is previous/following, what the conversations going on are, if I'm late . . .LOL). It was great, as always. PLUS it's a gorgeous day out, so that doesn't hurt.

Apparently I looked cheery today. I must tell her of the new addition to my life, though I think I can guess her reaction. Hmmm. This is a scary thought, LOL. Weird, the one person who teaches you things, the one who will prolly be the most accepting when you fall down etc. is the one you fear dissappointing most, well besides yourself that is.

Last night was nice. Watching Willy Wonka, seeing a few things I hadn't seen before in it, and then falling asleep for a bit enveloped in warmth.

I will be in Oberlin dees weekend. YAY.

OK, so nothing profound, as always: all I know is that I know nothing, and I am incredibly fulfilled currently, including the fact I'm getting myself out of the house and trying to do things (there's a few things I saw on citysearch I wanna check out) and always learning more.

I am being!

I hope everyone is well.

i love willy wonka. i used to watch it all the time. one day i had watched seven immediately before it,and i was suprised at the similarities. after some mental digging, i found that they are both paraphrasing dante's inferno. it's obvious, really... each child is a deadly sin, the factory is purgatory, designed to punish sinners and force them to atone for sin before they can escape. each is promised a huge fortune, and then are trapped in the factory and punished according to thier nature, and each has to undergo a literal physical transformation to become purified. but little charlie confesses his sin, and escapes his punishment, and rises up out of the chocolate factory (literally... via the device of the "wonkavator") to further adventures (one assumes,) in heaven.

*scratches head* "new addition?" I hate being in fucking West Virginia sometimes...I'm so far removed from the people that matter most to me. Please share.
