- I write and I get tons of questions, partially for my story, partially just because I get overly curious.

What do you think it is that makes famous people so enticing? Is it the idea that being known by so many people = good person?

Even though in reality this is not necessarily the case? I mean I'm sure in the beginning of show business it was because they were good people - I mean people whoare well known amongst groups of friends are usually so for one of 2 reasons - they are really good people, or they have done something that has pissed a lot of people off. I mean, there are many other reasons someone could be known amongst a group of friends - but for right now I'm sticking with this example for my continuing explanation.

So in the beginning, people probably became better known because they were genuinely good people as well as being talented. I mean before TV, and probably before radio (though with radio, you were probably less likely to recognize a famous person since you only had their voice to go by rather than the entire person) "famous" people weren't necessarily "famous". And if they were, it was probably much less likely they would be mobbed by people while walking down the street.

There were plays before TV and radio and my guess is that, yes people would probably want to mee the performers afterwards, or then again maybe not, but unless they really enjoyed the show and it affected their lives in some extreme way, my guess is that if theysaw that actor on the street they most likely would not run them down - unless, as stated before, the play affected their life or something - but I could be wrong.

So yeah, what's your opinion of what makes famous people so enticing that everyone wants to "know" them, without even knowing who they reallly are as a person?

Or is it the idea of energy exchange? I'm not sure what you believe or what different theroies you know, but one theory out there is that when you give someone attention you are exchanging energy, you are giving them some of your energy. Is it that people envy the life force that these people receive and want some?

Or is it because everyone else knows these people and they want to know them as well?

OK, a snack and back to typing (2 pages done so far this morning YAY).

I'm going to try and cut back on all the intermitten journal entries, lol. They're partially because I'm curious and partially to procrastinate continuing.

I hope everyone is doing well.

It's FRIDAY!!!! :)

i like that idea

how do we appreciate that for what it is for it seems to have been skewed somewhere along the lines - or maybe I am wrong, but it seems to me that in more recent years it has taken a somewhat different turn.

thanks for the input :)

I hope you be well and painting!
